Barks & Bottles located in Knightdale, North Carolina County, offers in your dog sitting, dog walking, and cat services. Our top priority is to ensure all of our pets are safe, comfortable, and have a great time when we’re together! We truly love animals and have a deep understanding of the pet/pet-owner relationship. Therefore, we provide the same love and attention to your pet as if they were ours!
About the Owner
In simple terms - Living my Love! Over the past 20 years, I’ve lived & worked as a certified therapeutic recreation specialist. I made the decision during the pandemic to begin pursuing my other life’s love; PETS! I decided to retire as a CTRS and work full-time as a bartender (my other love) and to officially start my own pet service business! I’ve been an unofficial pet sitter for 20+ years. Frequently boarding friends dogs, and providing cat care to friends when needed! Now my daughter and I are officially starting Barks & Bottles! We offer cat care, daily dog walks, and daily and/or nightly boarding. Like all of our services, the focus will be on providing a fun, safe, and family-oriented service.

By holding a master's degree from Indiana University in Recreation and having an extensive recreation background, I understand the importance of play, physical activity, and socialization. Also, being a pet owner myself for 23+ years I have a deep understanding of the love between a Pet and Pet Owner! At Barks & Bottles, we will strive to be your “Pet’s Other Best-friend!” We will do this by providing love, safety, and lots of fun!
Starting and maintaining a successful sustainable business is our goal. Therefore, we are starting slow and small (just like medication recommendations haha) by only providing and offering services on days and times we are able to provide them. Also, by accepting dogs with good temperaments, that we feel confident we can provide a great service!
